Loh Yu Lin
Yu Lin is perhaps the youngest agency partner in Singapore. The Malaysian native started her advertising career over 10 years ago at Dentsu, Kuala Lumpur. Network agencies FCB, JWT and Saatchi & Saatchi followed. Her category experience includes automotive, education, beauty, pharmaceutical, FMCG and finance. In 2010 she left the comforts of home to join Ogilvy Singapore. It was there where she stood out as one of the strongest account directors, working on Ogilvy's fastest growing account, CIMB Bank. Yu Lin currently leads the CIMB Bank account at Mangham Gaxiola.
Stephen Mangham is the former Ogilvy Singapore Group Chairman. He is regarded as one of the most successful agency leaders in Asia. During his six-year tenure, the Singapore office nearly trebled their revenue and also grew in headcount from 240 to 600 people. In his final year, the agency won both Campaign Asia's Creative Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year in SE Asia. Yet, topping Marketing Magazine's client survey six years in a row is the one accolade he is most proud of.
Neko is a nasty-ass Bengal cat, which is a hybrid mix between a domestic feline and the wild Asian Leopard Cat. In English, his Japanese name means 'fortune cat' or 'lucky cat'. This spotted little talisman has been in the agency since we opened for business in 2012. You can find the spritely little guy guarding the staircase between floors at the agency most any day of the week.
Gax is the former Ogilvy Executive Creative Director, and has worked in Singapore since 1995. Over the last decade he was the ECD of Ogilvy, Batey Ads, Bates141 and FCB Singapore. In 2006 he was the first winner of the IAS's Creative Director of the Year award. He returned home only once in 2007 to work at San Francisco's famed Goodby Silverstein and Partners. Two years later, the opportunity to work at Ogilvy with Stephen Mangham brought him back to the CBD. The two left the agency with a duffle bag of awards which included Cannes Lions and two rare D&AD Yellow Pencils.
